Juliet
Managing Director and Co-Founder
Juliet Co-founder of the business started her career in recruitment and training in the 1990’s following her completion of the Diploma in Management at De Montfort university, she also attained her Certificate in Professional Recruitment with the Royal Holloway University during her time at Reed Accountancy.
Post working with Reed and Abacus, Juliet was asked to attain funding for training companies to assist others back to work, she successfully assisted many companies to gain this funding and grow.
She then took a few years to assist her elderly and ill parents in Devon but during that time she also helped establish a new team of recruitment professionals at Age UK where she successfully worked with stakeholders to significantly reduce recruitment costs and build an established professional internal team.
During this time Juliet was being approached daily to recommence her work in recruitment and training being contacted daily by professionals she had worked with and that this points she returned to this field of work.
More recently with Covid-19 it became evident working with her Senior Management Team and previous clients that there was a significant need to assist professionals who had never been in these redundancy and furlough situations and whose changing mind sets required greater assistance with CV writing, networking and transferring of relevant skills, therefore Voncap Career Consultancy was started.

Nigel
Director and Co-Founder
Nigel is a co-founder and Director of Voncap alongside Juliet. Juliet and Nigel set up the company together when recognising that between them they had a harmonious skillset to cover the funding and customer service communications required within the business to promote their services.
Nigel has set up the foundations and processes of the business to ensure that all aspects of the enrolment and administration of the learners is complete. Nigel has an exemplary work history in running and managing in hospitality, customer service and regulatory compliance in the financial services sector and so he was ideal for starting up the administration and customer service side of the business.
Alongside above Nigel has extensive sales experience and has been the leading person on account management and development with stakeholders across all areas of the business. Nigel will be instrumental in leading the Corporate element of Voncap Career Consulting

Lesley
Head of Functions and Strategy
Lesley Head of Functions & Strategy brings to Voncap a wealth of commercial and strategic experience that fits into the varying functions of the business adding value and support to the Directors of the business.
Having developed a career in the recruitment sector Lesley held a number of managerial roles that required team management, business organisation and strategy. Over the years this was working initially for Reed Accountancy running, expanding, and troubleshooting a number of branch operations within their network. Following on from Reed Accountancy, Lesley moved into boutique recruitment businesses that required a stronger commercial and business strategy focus and it was in these times that Lesley extended her career and personal development.
Lesley and Juliet met in 2000 and developed a strong relationship at Reed Accountancy but further along the career pathway they came together again to combine their business skills in the Voncap organisation.
Lesley holds an “umbrella” type role in the business and Senior Management team, focussing with the Directors on the business functions and strategy whilst nurturing and managing the development of the administration and course coordination.

Mark
Head of Commercial
Mark has been working within the Recruitment industry for over 30 years. He commenced his career within the fast moving temporary market with a major High Street Recruitment business.
He progressed through to Management positions managing both permanent and temporary teams. In 2009 he formed his owned company along with 2 partners concentrating on the SME market. Their focus was to resource staff in a variety of disciplines with prominence in Finance, Human Resources, Project Management and Operations. Many of the candidates he has placed over the years have gone on to become clients and he has passed on his knowledge and advice as they have developed teams, or acted in an advisory capacity as their careers developed. 2 years’ ago, Mark came out of the business (still supports them as an associate) to concentrate on other projects which include employability training and advisory services.
The skills he has developed over his many years as a recruiter have enabled him to transition seamlessly into employability. He works within the Voncap set-up as a 1 to 1 advisor or as a group tutor.

Keryn
Training Consultant
With an amazing work history which commenced overseas in operational roles Keryn progressed into training. Being the dynamic character she is, that wasn't enough and she moved to the UK to expand her experience.
Keryn has herself been the learner in highly commercial fast paced businesses, working in senior operational roles. Moving into training was to be her vocation over 10 years ago and is proving highly successful for herself and the Voncap business.
Keryn has a wealth of customer focussed work experience which includes a lengthy period of time in the hospitality sector where she was influential in working closely with the management building the teams and ensuring training was delivered to the highest standard. Keryn knows what the “front line” requires and therefore delivers her training and coaching accordingly.

Dot
Admin
Dot joined Voncap in 2020 as the business was growing bringing with her a background in a multitude of sectors with back-office bookkeeping and system compliance. She is now keeping track of receipts, finances, HR and many other aspects of the back-office function key to allowing the Directors and other team members to focus on strategy and growth.
The HR and finance function and processes are now a fully operational process that shows not only does VCC run smoothly but also they are an ethical company who respect all our team and staff and this is without doubt due to Dot getting the back office function in line with a growing business and ensuring that is it both compliant and can grow further.
Dot has also been a great support to the course coordination team, assisting along the way at times of high volumes to ensure excellent customer sevice.

Deb
Tutor
A highly experienced motivational Talent Coach, Transformational and CBT Life Coach, Training Consultant and Managerial Professional. A confident decision maker and communicator with vast experience working in diverse sectors with a methodical and disciplined attitude to workload.
An effective problem solver thinking creatively to produce solutions to improving life quality, working life practices and optimising efficiency. A passionate and energetic educator for all levels of education with a dynamic approach to delivery and motivating both students and team members. Highly valued for fostering and nurturing long term relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.

Elizabeth
Tutor
Elizabeth has worked in the Further Education sector for almost 20 years. Starting as an Assessor, progressing to become an IQA. Elizabeth has taught within these roles to a variety of groups of people aged 16 to adult, with a mixture of abilities sometimes including additional learning and social needs. Elizabeth has developed and has previously been Operations/Quality Manager and had carried out this role successfully for the past 10 years.
Receiving The Presidents Award for Services to Teaching by Princess Anne at Buckingham Palace and being awarded the Lion Award for Innovator of the Year rank are among some of the greatest personal achievements in her career to date. Elizabeth says she believes, this is a reflection of the passion, commitment and effort she puts in to making her role within the workplace nothing but the best and always to benefit others.

Lynn is a highly experienced and accomplished Trainer with a demonstrable history of working in the professional training & coaching industry providing learners with a first class learning experience whether commencing their career or extensive managerial experience.
